A natural hybrid between <i>C. sylvatica</i> and <i>C. triplicata</i>. Most characters intermediate between these parents. Roots 3-4 mm in diam.
Flowers usually white, tinged with purple, rarely light purple or purple, often turning dull orange in age; midlobe of lip 2-lobulate to clawed reniform, retuse; spur 24-32 mm long.
